THANK YOU SO MUCH for standing with us in these difficult times, as we all seek the Lord for revival in our nation and for spiritual awakening around the world. We don't take lightly your prayers for this ministry and its individual workers. God will reward your labor of prayer. "Therefore my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." (I Cor.15:58) Africa is a land of great need. The culture has been steeped in witchcraft for countless generations.In 1994 we began working with evangelistic crusades. What a joy to see so many people eagerly receiving the gospel and having their lives filled with joy! With so many new believers there is a tremendous need for training of pastors and leaders. Siloam Ministries supports and trains dynamic Native missionaries who are tremendously effective in reaching their own people because they do not have the cultural or language barriers that an outsider experiences. We are also going after orphans from the outer islands of Lake Victoria. One hundred and sixty orphans have received medicine and food and our Osanidde Day orphanages. There are 4000 more in the islands in the Uganda section of the lake. We are focusing on twelve new orphanages to house them and meet their needs. There is need for much more. We have some adults who have agreed to live in the orphanages to parent the children. We need financial support for these dear people and the children. For those of us who cannot travel to Africa this is a way you can fill these needs. We thank God for each one of you and feel close to you in the Spirit as we remember the strong stand that you take with us and for us in prayer.
